I wouldn't say they went out on a limb with these picks. Both faves were over -250 weren't they? Villa was playing a bottom tier team in a cup competition and rangers are one of two teams, along with Celtic, to even have a chance to win their leagues. They're the only 2 teams in Scotland that have $ to spend on players. So the choices were easy but what if one lost? You're down at least -150 on the day. Soccer is a game of bounces and luck a lot of the time, that's why I would never lay -250. If you want a winner play Man U today, of course they are -600 but that's ok, right?
